Parole Fees Repealed!
Thanks to BUILD and Turnaround Tuesday’s hard work, as of October 1, 2024, parole fees in Maryland are no more. As part of that repeal, at BUILD’s action on October 6, Public Safety & Correctional Services Secretary Carolyn Scruggs, announced $13 million in parole fee debt was cancelled.
